LRN is recognised for its portfolio of international English qualifications for those who want to provide evidence of their English Language skills for their professional or personal development. These qualifications are internationally recognised as providing proof of the skills and abilities required by educational institutes, professional bodies and governments. LRN also creates qualification in business, enterprise, management, community awards, Islamic banking as well as qualifications in education and training. LRN offers its customers qualifications that are easy to deliver, cost-effective and user-friendly. In producing its qualifications the project team drew upon the experience and expertise of academics, professionals working in the pertinent industries and colleagues with a wealth of practice and knowledge of validation, verification, delivery and assessment. LRN was founded by a group of educators and business people and specialises in ESOL, Education training and management qualifications. Our London head office is supported by a team of representatives around the world. The British Assessment Bureau (BAB) has awarded LRN the international ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certifications for provision and online verification of certificates and awards. Ministry of Labour & Social Development

The Ministry of Labour and Social Development is working to implement an integrated system of services for various segments of society. It also seeks through it to achieve welfare and social security, provide decent work opportunities, and enhance the work environment. In addition to providing various services and social care, according to a tight organizational strategy that aims to contribute positively and effectively to regulating the labour market in Bahrain. The Ministry was able to do all this by developing legislation, laws and regulatory procedures in line with the changes in the labour market, and to achieve effective integration of the national workforce in various economic sectors. In addition, the Ministry draws up the methodologies for developing the national workforce in the private sector in order to achieve real investment in the human resources of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The date of establishing the Ministry goes back to nearly 64 years, when the “Labour Office” was established in 1955. Then in 1957 it was transformed into the “Department of Labour”, and switched to the “Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs” in 1971. However, in 2005 the labour sector was separated from the social affairs sector, two become two entities: "Ministry of Labour" and "Ministry of Social Development". As this transformation contributed to the improvement of services provided to citizens, and many initiatives and pioneering programs were implemented that led to building an integrated community protection system at the levels of work and social development. In 2014, when the new government was formed in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which included the re-merging of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Social Development, to become the Ministry of Labor and Social Development. Accordingly, the Ministry has continued to exercise its service and development role with finest quality and distinction, and has strived to provide the most comprehensive privileges for the benefit of all segments of the society. Tamkeen is a public authority that was established in 2006 in accordance with the law no. 57, as one of the main pillars of His Majesty the King to reform the labor market with the main aim of supporting the development of the private sector to be the main engine of economic and sustainable growth. In line with the objectives of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 alongside the principles of sustainability and competitiveness, Tamkeen was established to contribute towards the development and growth of the national economy, by strengthening the private sector paving the way for Bahrain’s ongoing diversification towards a technology-driven knowledge-based, globally competitive and sustainable economy. Tamkeen has two primary objectives: to first foster the development and growth of enterprises, and second to provide support to enhance the productivity and training of the national workforce. To achieve these objectives Tamkeen’s 2018-2020 strategy focuses on Diversifying offerings, Accelerate delivery and Sustaining Impact. Tamkeen has launched many initiatives for Bahraini individuals and businesses across various fields including financing, training, mentoring, and a lot more, serving more than 234,000 individuals and enterprises.
